29.Approve and authorize El Paso County Sheriff's Office to apply for the U.S. Department of Justice, FY21 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program – Local Formula Solicitation as the lead applicant for funding in the amount of $217,701, to be split evenly between the County and City of El Paso, from October 1, 2020, through September 30, 2024. 31.Pursuant to Government Code § 61.001 (b), set the juror pay at $7 for each day or fraction of a day while a person is in attendance in Court as a prospective juror but not selected, and $40 for each day or fraction of a day if selected for jury duty and sworn in to sit on a jury panel during FY 2022.
