| Background: | The County of El Paso’s Information Technology Department (ITD) is committed to its partnership with departments to complete Projects. These partnerships are essential to coordinate and complete the various deliverables involved in a project of this magnitude. To achieve this goal, ITD dedicates Project Management Resources focused on gathering and outlining necessary requirements for the successful deliverance of these efforts.
ITD will be providing infrastructure services and deliverables that need to be accomplished, such as Internet Services to the building. This would provide the required infrastructure to run conduit from the Downtown Annex to the County Courthouse to provide internet services.
Receive Special Privilege Permit from the City of El Paso to complete the coring of the Downtown Annex to MDR and County Courthouse.
ITD is requesting that the Court approve and authorize the County Judge to sign the application for special privilege license. The application has been reviewed and approved by the County Attorney’s Office, and the Purchasing Department. ITD recommends approval.
