Subject:Pursuant to Article 59.06(g) of the Code of Criminal Procedures, approve and authorize the Chapter 59 Asset Forfeiture and Seizure Reports as submitted by the El Paso Border Crime Initiative (2023-0939), El Paso Metro Task Force (2023-0940), El Paso County Metro Criminal Enterprise Unit (2023-0941) for the reporting period of October 1, 2022, through September 30, 2023. This certification is completed annually and reports funds received and how those funds were spent to the Office of the Attorney General.
Background:The Chapter 59 is an annual report that is required by the Office of the Attorney General of Texas.
