The County budget is being amended in accordance with Texas Local Government Code §111.0709.

Budget amendment is necessary:

·To transfer appropriations from the General and Administrative Account to the Council of Judges to cover the cost for staffing changes approved on Staffing Change Approval Form 2023.062.

·To transfer appropriations from the General and Administrative Account to Probate Court 1 to cover the cost for staffing changes approved on Staffing Change Approval Form 2023.053.

·To transfer appropriations from the General and Administrative Account to various County Departments to cover the cost for position changes approved by Commissioners Court 8-14-23 Item M.

·To transfer appropriations from County Administration and from the Information Technology to County Operations to cover the position changes approved on Staffing Change Approval Form 2023.055.

·To set up the Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Grant as awarded by Texas Office of the Governor.

·To set up the remaining budget for the Region 1-Border Prosecution Unit 2024-2025 Grant as awarded by the granting agency Criminal Justice Division.

·To set up the budget for the 384th Adult Drug Court Program 2024 Grant as awarded by the granting agency Criminal Justice Division for Commissioners Court approval on 10/23/23.

·To set up the remaining budget for the Juvenile Drug Court Program 2024 Grant as awarded by the granting agency Criminal Justice Division for Commissioners Court approval on 10/16/23 item 4S.

·To set up the budget for the CA Victim Resource Program 2024 as awarded and approved by the granting agency CCO 10/2/23.
