| Background: | The widening and reconstruction of Pellicano Dr. is an initiative that began inn 2006 as the County began to work with cooperative property owners in the area to acquire the necessary right-of-way for the expansion and reconstruction of Pellicano Dr.
The project is listed in the El Paso Metropolitan Planning Organization's planning documents and let for construction in 2019. The project extends from Loop 375 to Darrington Rd. for approximately 3 miles. The project includes improvements such as: six divided lanes, raised median, illumination, landscaping, pavement, curbs and gutters, and sidewalk/bike lanes. |
