The County budget is being amended in accordance with Texas Local Government Code §111.0709.

·Budget amendment is necessary:

·To transfer appropriations within the Medical Examiner Department to cover the cost to install cabling in Admin. I and II. ITD is covering the other portion of the reno.

·To set up the budget for the GRDTFFA23 grant as awarded by TxDOT.

·To increase the budget for the District Attorney-Victim Assistance Program 2023 grant as awarded and approved by the granting agency to adjust award for additional match approved.

·To transfer appropriations within the 384th DC Drug Court to cover the cost for liability insurance expenses until year end.

·To transfer appropriations within the Probate Court #2 Travel Fund to cover the cost to set up budget for speaker fees and travel.

·To transfer appropriations within the Probate Court #2 Special Revenue Fund to cover the cost to set up salary supplement budget.

·To transfer appropriations within the Probate Court #2 Court Initiated Guardianship Fund to cover the cost to setup budget for salary supplement.

·To transfer appropriations within the Road And Bridge Department to cover the cost to purchase 6 vehicles and other items as necessary.

·To transfer appropriations within the Donation Fund for Veterans Assistance to cover the cost for a donation received through Marathon.

·To transfer appropriations within the Road And Bridges Department to cover the cost to pay licensing fees for roadway crossings and other items as necessary.
