(Contract No. 2022-0953) | | Background: | On September 26, 2022, the court accepted the FEMA EFSP Special Funding Request (SFR) award. As part of the budget submitted for the award, the county requested 1,000,000.00 for shelter support services from the Rescue Mission for a three-month period ending on December 31, 2022. This agenda item formalizes the terms and conditions of this partnership. The Rescue Mission would become subrecipients of these funds so that they may increase capacity to shelter individuals that have been encountered by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). | | Fiscal Impact: | The funding award is up to $1,000,000 within the term of the agreement.
