Subject:	Receive a presentation from USCIS recognizing 20 individuals who will be taking their Oath of Citizenship and pledging allegiance to the United States to complete the process of naturalization.
Background:	For Welcoming Week 2022 the Office of New Americans collaborated with USCIS to celebrate 20 individuals who embarked on the journey of becoming naturalized citizens of the United States of America. They all worked hard and completed the process. The Application of Naturalization was reviewed and approved by USCIS. They were interviewed by USCIS Officers and have passed their U.S. Citizenship Civics test. In this last leg of this process, they must recite the oath that will allow them to become a fully naturalized U.S. citizen. We are honored to announce that this will take place before Commissioners Court on Monday September 12, 2022.
