The software automatically links related data, so that any change is reflected across the entire report and in the supporting documentation. The goals of this program include automating our current processes to save time and complete the ACFR faster to allow staff to spend more time on analysis, automate the Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (SEFA) reporting, provide a flexible reporting solution that can also be used for monthly reporting, create a sustainable and repeatable process long term that will aid in knowledge transfer and succession planning, and allow for data traceability and a full audit trail. Cost of implementation is $231,100 and an annual cost of $49,000. This software has been used by the City of El Paso for the last three years and they report it has been a game changer. It is also being implemented at Bexar County. Without the software, another position may need to be requested as the County expands their debt issuances, grants, and complex financing arrangements. $196,042 remains from funding previously allocated for Enterprise Resource Planning purposes and an additional $83,958 is available under account CP-CPERPSFTWR12-IT SOFTWARE. | | Fiscal Impact: | $280,000
