The Human Resources Department, on annual basis, hosts a Spring and Fall Health Fair and Benefits Open Enrollment Sessions at the County Courthouse, the Sheriff’s Office, and the Juvenile Probation Department.
The purpose of the Health Fair is to provide the opportunity for employees and vendors providing services to the County to discuss plans and programs. The purpose of the Open Enrollment period is to allow employees the opportunity to electronically review and change their benefit coverage for the upcoming plan year. In addition, these events increase employee awareness of their benefit plans by coordinating directly with providers for education and resources.
In order to incentivize employees to participate in the Health Fair and to incentivize employees to enroll early for Benefits Open Enrollment, staff is seeking approval to accept donations to raffle off during these events.
