| Background: | The County has partnered with the San Elizario Genealogy for several decades in the establishment of Los Portales and the Old County Jail Museums as public institutions, providing the community and researchers with access to cultural and archival materials.
This past fiscal year the museums have seen a complete expansion of programming, tours, and exhibition rotations through the implementation of a brand new staff of recent graduates from UTEP Museum Studies and Architectural Preservation at Texas Tech.
Please note that the renewal accounts for both Fiscal Year 2021-2022, and 2022-2023. |
