Item Title:DA - Statewide Automated Victim Notification Service FY23

Subject:Approve and authorize the County Judge to sign the First Amendment FY2022 Statewide Automated Victim Notification Service (SAVNS) Maintenance Grant contract (OAG 2218675) with the Office of the Texas Attorney General to update the name of the vendor providing services from Apriss, to Appriss Insights, LLC, pending legal review and approval. (Contract No. 2022-0585)
Background:The SAVNS -- Statewide Automated Victim Notification Service Contract with the Office of the Attorney General and the updated Service Provider Appriss Insights, LLC, provides El Paso crime victims with 24-hour automated information about offender court hearings and notification of offender release. El Paso County has participated in the program since 2003. 
Fiscal Impact:There is no impact to El Paso County's Budget. Payment to service provider for automated service is paid by the Texas Attorney General's Office.
Recommendation:Approve and authorize the County Judge to sign the First Amendment FY2022 Statewide Automated Victim Notification Service (SAVNS) Maintenance Grant contract (OAG 2218675) with the Office of the Texas Attorney General to update the name of the vendor providing services from Apriss, to Appriss Insights, LLC, pending legal review and approval. (Contract No. 2022-0585)
Prior Action:FY 22 OAG Grant Contract approved by CC 09/20/2021, item 4-D, Contract No. 2021-0652.
