On September 2021, the Court approved a contract to have Quantum Engineering perform a growth analysis on the unincorporated areas of the County. The analysis aimed assist the County in analyzing current growth patterns and demographic trends throughout the unincorporated area and the demand these populations place on new public safety services and infrastructure, including law enforcement, fire protection and ambulance services within the study area.

At the June Special Session, Planning staff and Quantum Engineering presented their findings to the Commissioners Court regarding the El Paso County Growth Management Report. This item is to accept the final report and close out the contract. 

September 20, 2021 - Item O - Approve and authorize the County Judge to sign the professional services agreement with Quantum Engineering Consultants, Inc. for the provision of urban planning and development analysis services in the amount of $50,000. Funding is available in GF-EPCMP-PROF SVC-GEN. (Contract No. 2021-0722)
