The County of El Paso was seeking qualified vendors for alcohol monitoring services as a supervision tool for offenders/defendants and as an alternative measure for sentencing, confinement, and bond conditions.

 Contract Term:             One (1) year contract with renewable options not to exceed 5 years.

Proposals were received and evaluated by a committee consisting of representatives from the County Criminal Justice Coordination Department, Adult Probation, Public Defender’s, and District Attorney’s Office.  The Purchasing Department facilitated the evaluation process.  Evaluation criteria included:

·      Provides Healthcare to Employees

The evaluation team reviewed, scored, and ranked each firm against the established criteria #1 A LifeSafer of Texas Interlock Inc. of Cincinnati, OH and 1A Smart Start, LLC of Grapevine, TX were determined to be the most qualified firms to meet the County’s needs.
