| Background: | El Paso County Transit is upgrading its current fareboxes from a standard "piggy bank drop" to a Genfare Odyssey Fast Fare Farebox. The new fast fare farebox requires a single garage and single lane data system and accompanying software to work properly. Upgrading the current system offers riders the ability to pay with other means, receive change cards, monthly passes, transfers and any future discounts EPCT may want to offer. |
