| Background: | The County has the authority under Chapter 381 to make loans or grants of public funds for the purposes of promoting local economic development and stimulating business and commercial activity within El Paso County.
County Commissioners on June 21, 2021 approved a 381 agreement with Charter Communications, Inc., that sought to support the company's expansion in El Paso County that included a property tax rebate as well as a grant for skills training.
This amendment clarifies that the agreement intended for the skills training grant of $100,000 to be included in addition to a property tax rebate of up to $181,116 as part of El Paso County support for the company's expansion. |
