| Background: | The County was seeking a qualified vendor to purchase the Web-Based Solution Software for the Sheriff’s Department. The software contains a legal team that keeps up to date on policies, State and Federal Laws which write policy updates as well as provide scenario based training specific to the policy. The software will assist the jails in remaining in compliance with State and Federal Laws.
To ensure the County is obtaining the overall best value, to include pricing and terms, the Purchasing and the Sheriff’s Department reviewed available cooperative contracts and determined that the contract held by Lexipol of Fisco, Texasthrough Region 19 Contract 18-7297 conforms to the County’s needs.
