| Background: | El Paso County has received numerous constituent concerns regarding gatherings in the desert area by the Socorro Activities Center (SAC) which have resulted in fights, shootings, and bullets hitting residential homes.
In an effort to increase visibility, the Sheriff's Office is requesting approval to use salary savings to provide Overtime pay for the purpose of increasing law enforcement presence near the Socorro Activities Center (SAC).
