In September 2013, TXDMV created a Web-Dealer program. Web-Dealer is an electronic title and registration system that processes title/registration applications from any internet-connected computer. Dealers will be able to process registration and title transactions electronically; they will no longer have to bring their transactions to the Tax office. The web-dealer program will create e-titles that lead to reducing title fraud. It will support electronic storage of all title information (e-titles), and read hard stops.

The agreement will provide the following benefits:

•Convenience (improve dealer and customer service)

•Helps TAC provide title and registration needs to the public.

•Fee’s paid thru ACH method, allows TAC confirmation of fees.

•Transactions are not lost.

•Dealer knows status of transaction.

•No manual handling of title transactions by TAC.

Approve and authorize the County Judge to sign the El Paso County Tax Assessor-Collector Dealer Deputy Agreements with, Lucky MotorSports Inc. (2021-0484), Audi El Paso (2021-0487), BMW of El Paso (2021-0488), Porsche El Paso (2021-0489), Subaru El Paso (2021-0490), Shamaley Buick GMC (2021-0491), Shamaley Ford (2021-0196), Vermeer Sales Southwest Inc. (2021-0493), and Vermeer Sales Southwest Inc. (2021-0494) authorizing them to act as a Dealer Deputy of the Tax Assessor-Collector in the processing of title/registration applications/motor vehicle sales tax receipts.
