The El Paso County Tax Assessor-Collector, Ruben P. Gonzalez, Beneficiary of the Letter of Credit No. IS000018031, was issued a notice on June 15, 2021 stating the Standby Letter of Credit will not be extended beyond October 31, 2021.

This notice was issued as per the conditions in the original Letter of Credit which states,  "This Letter of Credit shall be deemed automatically extended without written amendment for one year periods from the present or any future expiry date at least 60 calendar days prior to such expiration date, we send the Beneficiary notice at the above stated address by overnight courier that we elect not to extend this letter of credit beyond the initial or any extended expiry date hereof."
