| Background: | The El Paso County Sheriff's Office (SO) received the original TxDOT FY21 STEP CMV grant award in the amount of $39,076.95 with a match of $9,810.49. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the SO was not able to conduct traffic enforcement resulting in a balance of funding in the amount $18,193.85; $14,895.01 grant funding and $3,298.84 match. The new grant amount is $24,181.94 with a match of $6,511.65. |
| Fiscal Impact: | SO will return grant award funding to TxDOT in the amount of $14,895.01.
However, technically there is no fiscal impact to the County. |
