| Background: | The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 is designed to fuel the nation's recovery from the devastating economic and health effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. This grant will provide funding to continue the County's Intercity Bus Route (Gould Route), which provides public transportation services to El Paso County residents that commute to and from El Paso County and Las Cruces, NM; the service links the Town of Anthony, to El Paso, Texas and Las Cruces, New Mexico and is the result of an innovative partnership between the County, the Texas Department of Transportation and the New Mexico Department of Transportation. |
