TIDC's formula grant program awards funds based on the County's population and indigent defense expenditures in the previous fiscal year. For the FY 2018 grant program, El Paso County was awarded $826,342 plus an additional allocation of $45,906. In FY 2019, the County received an initial award of $640,077, plus an additional award allocation of $46,432, and for FY 2020, the County was awarded $861,661.
