| Background: | For several years the El Paso District Attorney's Office and the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Office of Inspector General have had an interlocal agreement to have the DA's office prosecute cases such as those of food stamp fraud and others.
The agreement has been reviewed and approved as to form by the County Attorney's Office. |

| Recommendation: | Approve and authorize the El Paso County Judge to sign the Interlocal Cooperation Contract with the Health and Human Services Commission on behalf of the Office of the Inspector General for the referral of cases of alleged fraud to the El Paso District Attorney's Office for prosecution of cases.
