| Background: | Commissioner Holguin was contacted by the EP County Sheriff's Officers' Association regarding the possibility of putting up a sign on Chicken Ranch Rd. memorializing Deputy Peter Herrera. There is already a small homemade memorial there, but something more formal is being requested. The location is in the City of San Elizario and the land belongs to Mr. Jerry Odom, a developer. Both the City of San Elizario and Mr. Odom have agreed to have the sign installed. |
