| Background: | This is an annual grant received by TDA to the home delivered meal program. The level of funding is tied to the number of unreimbursed meals from other sources. TDA requires each applicant to identify the meals served and the reimbursement sources to avoid duplicate payment for meals reimbursed by the Area Agency on Aging and the Health and Human Services Commission.
This award is also acknowledged in a Resolution that is included as part of the agenda back up material that authorizes the application for funding. The contract term begins in February of 2021 and ends in January of the following year.

| Fiscal Impact: | An in-kind match is required in the amount of $27,071.25. The Nutrition Program's county-funded operations budget is committed as in-kind services to this program.
The grant award for FY 2020 was $102,497.77 and for FY 2019 was $99,824.13.
