(Contract No's. 2020-0823, 2020-0824, 2020-0825, 2020-0826 and 2020-0827) | | Background: | On June 22, 2020, the Commissioners Court signed Interlocal agreements with Anthony, Horizon City, San Elizario, Vinton, Socorro and Clint to provide CARES Act funding to those municipalities to mitigate the financial burden caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and related to eligible expenses for governmental functions and services which qualify under the CARES Act as compensable expenses by the United States Department of the Treasury.
That Interlocal required the cities to use 75 percent of their funding on medical related expenses. This amendment drops that local requirement.
