| Background: | The El Paso County Public Works Department will use the software for GIS purposes. The software will allow for all GIS activities to be available online in a cloud based environment. Activities include map production, collection of assets, maintenance and creation of databases. The department uses the software for property investigation in several of its Planning and Development functions. Those functions include Certificates of Compliance, Plan Review, and Real Property Donations. Request for data by other departments are accomplished by using this software. Assets tracked for the Infrastructure Services department include street signs, street lights, and roadway information. Drone processing software was recently added to this software. |
