| Background: | The County of El Paso, Texas PW/Parks and Recreation Department was selected by KABOOM! to partner with them on a Texas-focused initiative to achieve playspace equity. KABOOM! aims to ensure that under-resourced communities and communities of color have increased access to play and that these play spaces are designed to be resilient and supportive of its environment by partnering with municipalities and community organizations across the state. |
| Fiscal Impact: | The developed grant would provide additional funding to the County of El Paso for a match towards a 2020 Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Local Parks Urban Outdoor Recreation Grant application. |
