| Subject: | Pursuant to the Texas Local Government Code, § 152.013 (b), discuss and take action on the proposed annual salaries, expenses or allowances for elected County and precinct officers for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2020. Any proposed salary or allowance increases will be published in a local newspaper of general circulation. These salaries and any proposed increases would take effect on October 1, 2020 and upon the adoption of the County Budget. |
| Background: | Proposed salaries will be provided through email notification to each elected County and Precinct Officer. Officials will have 5 days to file a written grievance of proposed salaries or allowances. Upon receipt of any grievances the County will schedule a salary grievance committee meeting and present the committee’s findings to the Court for consideration of inclusion in the FY2021 budget. |
