| Background: | The County Coliseum was identified as one of the Economic Development Department's strategic priorities through the Market Study completed in 2016 as part of the Economic Development Action Agenda. During the Fiscal Year 2019 budget discussion, Commissioners Court allocated $250,000 to complete an Events and Venue Feasibility Study which would determine the best use of the County Coliseum, as well as a market study for possible implementation of additional amenities. The current draft reflects input from key stakeholders and is seeking input from the Court before proceeding with the RFP process through the Purchasing Department. |
