The Information Technology Department (ITD) is requesting to renew and consolidate all our contracts with Century Link (formerly Level 3 Telecom Holdings, LLC and TW Telecom Holding, LLC). This contract provides telecommunication circuits that deliver vital services to the County of El Paso. This agreement is in accordance with ITD’s goal to create a consolidated service portfolio for the County’s telecommunication needs. This, and future contracts, will strive to create a single terminus date for contract renewal. This alignment of contracts will allow for improved portfolio procurement, create a more competitive, and feature rich environment.

This 36 month service agreement provides a 100 Mbps data circuit for the District Attorney’s Office at 11150 La Quinta Place El Paso, TX 79936.

The circuit upgrade of 511 E. San Antonio approved by Commissioners Court in the amount of $41,546.32 has been impacted by a location change of office operations transferred to 11150 La Quinta Place resulting in a fiscal increase of $12,049.92 for a 36 month term.

County Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved this agreement on October 31, 2019.

On June 3, 2019, Commissioners Court approved the execution of this 36 month contract with CenturyLink (Level 3 Financing) to purchase (10) 1gbps fiber circuits, (5) 100mbps fiber circuits, (3) 10mbps fiber circuits, and the primary connection to the Internet under agenda item #13.

On May 20, 2019, Commissioners Court approved the purchase of County Network Access Services for ITD utilizing GSA Federal Acquisition Services Contract GS-35F-0426R awarded to Level 3 under agenda item #21.
