| Background: | The County is working with the City of El Paso, El Paso Community Foundation, Paso Del Norte Foundation, and United Way to establish a Resiliency Center to help the families and victims of the August 3, 2019 mass shooting. Start up money will come from the CIP penny fund, and the rest, as needed, will come from the General Fund. At the same time the Center is being established, the Grants department is aggressively looking for grants to offset and reimburse the County for any and all possible costs. |
