The County of El Paso submitted a grant application to North American Development Bank (NADBANK) in September 2017 to seek financial assistance toward constructing first-time water in the Hillcrest Center area. These areas have no public water system and are currently using water storage tanks.

This technical assistance agreement is to authorize North American Development Bank to provide funding in an amount of $59,664.00 to advance the Hillcrest project through amending the preliminary engineering report, environmental documents and updating the surveyor services. These funds are for the intent of reimbursing the County of El Paso for the cost associated with amending such reports. The intent of applying for funding from NADBANK is to pay for approximately half of the engineering and construction fees through grant funding.

Upon completion of the required tasks by NADBANK, NADBANK will evaluate and provide the appropriate grant funding to construct such water project. This is one of the steps needed to get this project certified by NADBANK to provide the county with grant funding to construct the project.
