Subject:Approve and authorize the County Judge to sign, on behalf of the Juvenile Probation Department, the letter for termination of contract 2017-0683 with Seton Home effective October 16, 2019.  (Contract No. 2019-0675)
Background:

All residential treatment centers are used for individuals that have been removed from the home due to all services being exhausted in the community and after reasonable efforts have been made to prevent or eliminate the need for the child to be removed from his / her home.

 

Pursuant to the terms of the contract listed herein, the contract  2017-0683 is terminated effective October 16, 2019, due to the Request for Qualifications process is completed and approved. 

 

The  El Paso County Juvenile Probation Department is providing  the vendor Seton Home  with a thirty (30) day notice of termination of agreement 2017-0683 made and entered into the 8th day of January, 2018 to include the month to month letter dated September 1, 2018. (Contract No. 2019-0675)

Recommendation:Recommend that the County Judge approve the termination of the contact between Seton Home and the Juvenile Probation Department.
