| Background: | The County is giving notice to El Paso Disposal that the County is exercising its Option to Renew for
an additional one year period so that the Contract expires on September 30, 2020.
In September 2005, in an effort to encourage safe and sanitary disposal of solid waste and deter illegal dumping Commissioners Courted adopted “the Rules Governing Use of Residential Solid Waste Service in the County.” This requires residents receiving water from the County-owned water system to use and pay for solid waste collection and disposal services provided by the County.
