| Background: | The Information Technology Department (ITD) manages and maintains all facilities structured cabling infrastructure. ITD currently outsources the installation and maintenance of all structured cabling work to Innovative PBX Services, Inc (aka New IPS). New IPS possesses the comprehensive skills, has knowledgeable resources, and has the appropriate industry certifications in order to perform or maintain any type of structured cabling services and structured hardware installation for both data and voice installations.
The Sheriff’s Training Academy will be acquiring new furniture for classrooms A, B, and C and it will require twelve data pulls to provide connectivity in order for the training instructors to perform their daily tasks. This work will be performed at the Sheriff’s Training Academy located at 12501 Montana Avenue.
Purchase Order 21909464 was reviewed and approved by Purchasing on June 27, 2019.
Legal review was required and completed by the County Attorney’s Office on August 16, 2019.
