(Contract No. 2019-0510) | | Background: | The Information Technology Department (ITD) manages and maintains all data communications circuits to remote sites located within the County of El Paso. These circuits provide the secure connectivity that allows employees to utilize the information resources resident on the County of El Paso's Network. These include: email, shared file storage, and enterprise applications (such as Odyssey, Munis, etc.). ITD has standardized the speed and bandwidth required for optimized user productivity for remote locations. AT&T has provided the attached contract to purchase a 1GBPS data circuit at $1,476 per month for an annual cost totaling $17,712. This 12 month service agreement replaces the current aging 1 GBPS known as the GigaMan data circuit which can no longer be renewed for the Sheriff's Headquarters Office located at 3850 Justice Drive.
On July 15, 2019, Purchasing Department issued Purchase Order 21909919 in the amount of $5,904. This amount will for the ADE data circuit for the remainder of the FY2019. Contingent upon funding allocation for FY2020 in MUNIS, this item will be requisitioned on for the remainder of the contractual obligations.
