| Background: |
The County of El Paso, no less than annually, reviews and updates the financial policies. These financial policies provide guidance on budgetary matters affecting the finances of the County.
Updates included in this year’s policy include:

Under the Development Processes & Timeline, update the timeliness of the certified tax estimates as well as other relevant revenue data

Under the Fund Balance portion, update the approval workflow and reporting recipient;

Further clarification under the Budget Transfer section for notifications to departments;

Amend the Elected Official Compensation section to be in accordance with current practice;
-
Update CIP funding for FY 2020
-
Correct grammar throughout the policy document.
