If participation is approved at a later date, funding will be available in SR-TOURPROM-OPS CONTINGENCIES. | | Background: | The City of El Paso has entered into a contract to regionally market Economic Development for a three-year period with Sanders/Wingo Advertising, Inc. which will include: Advertising Services, Marketing, Branding, Video Production, and Strategic Consultation. The City of El Paso has asked the County to contribute $100,000 the first year, review the return on investment, and then determine if and how much the County would contribute to the effort in years two and three. If the Commissioners Court approves, the County Economic Development Department would develop an interlocal agreement between the County and City and return to the Commissioners Court for action.
The City of El Paso and a representative from Sanders/Wingo Advertising, Inc. will be providing a presentation to Commissioners Court on this project and request.
