The Budget and Fiscal Policy Department in coordination with Commissioners Court and County Administration meet annually to review and take appropriate action on the upcoming fiscal year budget for the County of El Paso, Texas.                

The Budget and Fiscal Policy Department received and reviewed departmental FY2020 requests to get additional information to clarify request.  Departments also had an opportunity to appeal with our office and the County Administrator.  Our findings and budget recommendation will be discussed during the budget hearing meetings.  Additional items that impact El Paso County, for example COLA/Step, contracts, etc. will also be discussed.
