The County Criminal Justice Coordination (CJC) Department is collaborating with UTEP to provide research if the grant is successfully awarded. Sub-award will be used to obtain El Paso County information from the county database system and have it appended to internally tracked data by the Criminal Justice Coordination Department (CJC). This consists of appending three variables (country of origin, citizenship, and ice hold note) to the information found in the CJC’s pretrial report. The process includes pulling reports, data scrapping, and cleaning.
