| Background: | Public Works Facilities Maintenance is proposing to upgrade the controls on all VAV boxes at the County Courthouse. These VAV boxes were installed when the courthouse was constructed in 1988. The VAV boxes and controls have exceeded their life cycle of (28 years) and they are obsolete and difficult to monitor and maintain. There are a total of 481 VAV boxes throughout the building. |
