| Background: | The scanners are part of the new Election Systems products the County will be receiving and using for elections going forward. The anticipated move to voting centers for the November election would diminish the need to own the additional scanners if purchased. The department will only be sourcing the additional scanners for the May and June 2019 elections. The contract includes the rental price of the scanners, and the rental period will be from March 1 to May 31, 2019. |
