| Background: | The Economic Development Department has used this software for the past year to create and report the fiscal and economic impact of each project presented to Commissioners Court during executive session.
The proposed software (Impact DataSource) allows the department to run both an economic as well as fiscal impact analysis. Impact DataSource customizes an econometric model using the County of El Paso’s data. In addition to direct and indirect job creation Impact DataSource also considers real & personal property taxes, inventory taxes, estimated utility revenues and cost of government services. |

Service fees are expected to increase at a rate of 5% each year.
