This agreement is for the provision of consulting services by Lyle Sumek to the Council of Judges to provide for planning and development of the following  deliverables:

• To enhance the teamwork and collaboration within the El Paso County Court System.
• To develop an overall strategic framework and plan for the El Paso County Courts.
• To develop a One Year Action Agenda for 2019 with defined deliverables, time frame and responsibilities.
• To establish an ongoing process for strategic planning within the El Paso County Courts.
• To facilitate the development of a high performing Courts organization.
• To develop and formalize an ongoing strategic planning and its  implementation.  

Funding in the amount of $30,000 is available as needed in:

This funding is to be used to create a strategic plan for the courts.

The County will pay Consultant in the amount of TWO HUNDRED FIFTY AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($250) per month (the "Hourly Fee"). The Hourly Fee shall be paid by the 15th day of each month during the term of this agreement upon submission of an invoice to the County Auditor. The County shall reimburse Consultant for all reasonable expenses for transportation, lodging and meals incurred traveling in furtherance of this contract.  Consultant shall submit reimbursement claims on a form provided by the County Auditor with all required documentation attached.  Consultant shall bill for travel expenses on a proportional basis when said expenses are also incurred in furtherance of the business of Consultant's other clients.
