Prior to beginning construction for a subdivision, the landowner and/or developer must provide the County of El Paso with a performance letter of credit to ensure the subdivision is constructed to the standards specified by the County. Once the construction improvements are determined to be acceptable to the County by the Planning & Development Department, the performance letter of credit is released and a one-year warranty is provided by the land owner and/or developer for the various improvements in the subdivision. This one-year warranty is guaranteed through a maintenance bond provided by the land owner and/or developer.
The subdivision improvements in the referenced subdivision, located in Precinct 3, have been satisfactorily constructed in compliance with the El Paso County Subdivision Regulations. The developer, GFA, LLC, has provided a maintenance bond for the subdivision warranty period and has satisfactorily met all conditions of release for the Performance Letter of Credit.
