| Background: | The Information Technology Department (ITD) administers the software infrastructure that provides County employees with access to the majority of technology based solutions. Functions including: data file storage and enterprise level applications (Odyssey, Munis, etc.) are all dependent on this foundation. The software is “mission critical” to providing a platform for information delivery to County of El Paso employees, partner agencies, and residents of El Paso County. This software controls the virtual environment of the County of El Paso’s primary and secondary datacenters.
ITD seeks to renew the maintenance and support agreement with SHI Government Solutions (SHI), who is an approved reseller of this software. This agreement allows for the continued maintenance and periodic updates of the software which is utilized by the County of El Paso. SHI is providing pricing through the State of Texas DIR contract DIR-TSO-3984 for a one year term starting from January 24, 2019 and ending on January 23, 2020.
Legal Review was required and has been completed by the County Attorney’s office dated on December 26, 2018.
Purchase Order 21902067 was approved and converted by Purchasing on December 3, 2018.
