| Background: | Texas Local Government Code 132.004 allows for counties to collect a service charge for credit card chargebacks (payments by credit cards that are not honored) equal to the fee charged for NSF checks. The current NSF fee is $30.00. FY 17 and FY18 had a total of 105 chargebacks.
