The County budget is being amended in accordance with Texas Local Government Code §111.0415.

Budget amendment is necessary:

• To transfer appropriations from the General and Administrative account and within the SR-R&B accounts to various departmental accounts to cover the costs for actual vehicle insurance charges.

• To transfer appropriations within the Facilities Parking Enhancement accounts to cover the cost to replace burned out lights on the first floor of both parking garages with LED lights.

• To transfer appropriations within the Facilities Parking Enhancement accounts to cover the cost to replace the existing elevator roof and insulation in the public parking garage 9th floor.

• To transfer appropriations from the General and Administrative account to the County Judge's office to cover the costs for salary and fringe expenses for the personnel changes on the staffing change approval form 2019.0006.

• To transfer appropriations within the ITD departmental accounts and the General and Administrative account to cover the True Up portion of the County contract with SHI.

• To decrease the budget for the El Paso Veterans Treatment Court 2019 grant as awarded and approved by the granting agency to remove the Specialty Court position and cover operating expenses.

• To set up the budget for the Homeland Security grant as awarded by the Office of the Governor.

Grants increase by $183,629.00.

This budgetary amendment will increase Grants by $183,629.00, thus increasing the overall budget of $434,160,573.39 to $434,344,202.39.
